It’s a mod with big replay value due to the amount of new random stuff, units, items, spells and a lot of exciting choices to make in the beginning of the game. Overall it's not a bad game and I felt I got my $10 worth, but I don't think I'll be revisiting it like I have The Legend and Armored Princess. We have worked at least a year to polish this huge mod for the Kings Bounty game: Warriors of the North -Ice’n Fire expansion. That's not to say that he was tough (he was a pushover), but the goddamn "ally" they saddle you with seems to do everything possible to get in the way and slow down the battle I actually had to spend half my spellcasting turns teleporting his troops out of my way. Plus the final battle sequence was just stupidly annoying, particularly the final boss. And it isn't introducing visually new areas or new enemy army compositions at that point, it's just rehashing things you've already seen and are tired of. Warriors of the North gets to that point, then drags on for another 10 hours. KB:LT and KB:AP were both a good length- by the time they wrapped up I felt just about ready for it. The main issue I had with the game, though, is that it just dragged on for too long. The most noticeable issues are the poor (or sometimes even missing) translations some skill or spell descriptions are just nonsensical, and occasionally you'll just be greeted with a bit of Russian. Some of the spells are prone to causing the game to crash when used (fortunately those spells are rather useless), and there are plenty of instances of dialogue trees not working right. I didn't run into any gamebreaking bugs, but there are still a lot of minor bugs present that are quite noticeable. I picked it up a while back when it dropped into the sub-$10 range I was waiting for. Better wait for atleast few more months unitl they get the bugs rooted out. Warriors of the North suffers from ALOT of bugs. Potamus: Earlier KB games were better, atleast so far.
